1. Keep a file on your computer which contains your link codes (a "Word" document, or text of some kind, not a web page).
2. When you see that your editor has corrupted the codes, do the following, as the last stage before you upload your page. Don't bother to do this if the page is going to go through your editor again before uploading.
3. Go to your file referred to in {1}, select and copy the link code (don't delete it). Copy using "CTRL" + "C".
4. Open up your web page in a text editor (WordPad, NotePad, or similar).
5. Select the incorrect area of text in its entirety, then insert the text you have copied using "CTRL" + "V".
6. Save the file.
7. Once you have uploaded it, go to your own page on the internet, and perform a trial search, then check on SearchTraffic's "Stats" to see if it has registered.
8. Done !
